FC Levski beat Lokomotiv Plovdiv 3-2 in a match of the 27th round of the Bulgarian football championship played at the stadium in Plovdiv city on May 14, 2011.
The hosts opened the score with a goal of Basile Salomon Pereira de Carvalho 20 minutes into the first half.
FC Levski equalized in the opening minutes of the second half, when Tassevski’s shot stopped into the hosts’ net after a perfect combination between Hristo Yovov and Gadzhev, whose pass found Tassevski around the spot.
Levski’s Ivo Ivanov got a second yellow card and left his team a man down eleven minutes into the 2nd half. The Blue still were the more active team on the pitch and deservedly were given a penalty thirteen minutes before full time, which was easily scored by Dembele. Garra Dembele made it 3-1 for the Blue just seven minutes from time with a precise long-distance shot. The hosts lowered the score to 3-2 in the last minute of the added time, when they were given a penalty for a handball of Levski’s Miliev and Lazarov did not make a mistake from the spot.
