Sport Director- Georgi Ivanov

Born on 2 July 1976. Junior player of Lokomotiv Plovdiv where he has played 36 matches with 13 goals. In the summer of 1997 Ivanov sign for PFC Levski Sofia becoming a cult figure with blue fans. His tally with capital team for all nine seasons is 183 league apps. / 105 goals., 21 cup games / 12 goals, 34 euro ties / 16 goals. Gonzo as anyone connected with Levski know him played also for Rennes (France), Samsunspor, Gaziantepspor (Turkey), Rijeka (Croatia).

Former international with 34 matches / 4 goals. Champion of Bulgaria – 2000, 2001, 2002, 2006, 2007р 2009
Cup Winner – 1998, 2000, 2002, 2007.
Since 23 July 2009 he has been appointed as Sport Director of PFC Levski. From 01 July he become a general manager of the club

 

 

Head Coach – Nikolay Kostov

Born on 2 July 1963 in Dobrich. Junior player of Dobrudzha Dobrich. In the first team of the club he played from 1981 till 1988 where he has  150 matches and scored 76 goals. Next year he moves to Levski (Sofia) – 10 apps. In the season 1989-90 he cross the capital and come to Slavia and got 25 apps. / 11 goals. Another three years he spend in Anorthosis (Cyprus) with 75 matches and 30 goals. In 1994 he is back to Levski for another season with bulgarian football.
His coach career starting in his parent club Dobrudzha and lasting three years (1996-1999). Then Kostov back to Cyprus for another nine years as head coach of Anothosis (2001-2002), Onisilos Sotira (2003-2004), Olympiakos Nicosia (2004-2005, 2006-2007), AEK Larnaca (2005-2006). With Anorthosis he won the Cypriot Cup in 2002. Next destination is Banants Yerevan (2007-2008) and last team he coached is ukrainian Metalurh Donetsk.  
On the 4th November 2011 he was reveiled as the new head coach of Levski Sofia. 

   
Assistant Coach – Veselin Branimirov

Born on 25 August 1957 in Varna. Former player of Cherno more Varna (1992-1995) – 28 apps./2 goals, Neftohimik Burgas (1995-2005, 2006-2007) – 260 apps./ 7 goals. In 2005 he has been with Tobol Kazakhstan – 5 matches. With Neftohimik team he finish second in the Bulgarian national championship (1997), won the League Cup twice (1996 and 1997) and also play in the Bulgarian FA Cup Final in 2000. International player with 5 apps., 21 games with 1 goal for under-21 formation. He has 6 apps. plus 27 matches with 2 goals in Bulgarian FA Cup tournaments.
His coach career start in Chernomorets Balchik – 2009/10 and then year later he become head coach of Metalurh Donetsk Youth Academy.
On the 4th November 2011 he was reveiled as coach of PFC Levski Sofia.

 

Assistant Coach - Ivailo Petrov

Born 30.03.1976 in Plovdiv. Former player of Lokomotiv Plovdiv, Atromitos (Greece), Rila athlete Smolyan Rhodope. Youth team coach of Vekta Plovdiv where, during the 2008/09 season he won the Cup of Bulgaria with children born in 1995

 

Goalkeeper Coach – Georgi Sheytanov
Born on 24 November 1972
Junior player of Slavia Sofia, where he start playing at high level of Bulgaria football. He stay there for three seasons (1992-1995) with 35 apps. One season playing for Montana (1995-96). In the autumn of 1996 for one short period of time he went to Akademik Sofia and finishing the season 1996/97 with Spartak (Pleven). Since that season till 2001/02 he played in 22 matches for PFC Levski. From 2002 to 2007 he went to Yannina and Levadiakos (Greece), Lokomotiv (Sofia), Vihren (Sandanski) and Zagoretz (Nova Zagora). Champions of Bulgaria – 2000, 2001, 2002, National Cup Winner – 1998, 2000, 2002. In European cup tournaments he got 2 apps. From October 2010 he have been appointed as goalkeepers’ coach in PFC Levski first team.

 

Fitness Coach – Yassen Ekimov

Born on 07 August 1962 .
Graduated the National Sports Academy (NSA), subject “Athletics”. Seven years is athlete in track-and-field athletics. Four times is champion of Bulgaria on 800 m. From 2000 works with Levski PFC. Married, with one child. Champion of Bulgaria 2006, 2007, 2009. Super Cup - 2007, 2009

Administrator – Rayko Yakimov
Born on 14 May 1958.
Graduate of the Technical University - Sofia, subject “Technology of machine building”
Research Associate III degree. In 1990 gains post-graduate qualification at the Economic University – subject “International economic relations”. Worked with Electroimpex, Institute in Energy, Technical University (Head of international department), Boyana Residence (Assistant Manager), Fantastiko TC (Deputy Director of Exploitation).
Since 2000 works with Levski Professional Football Club.

Psychologist – Assoc. Prof. Tatyana Yancheva
Born on 03.08.1960.
Doctor of psychological sciences.
Associate Professor in sports psychology at the Chair of Psychology and Pedagogy with the NSA. Lecturer of the coach school at UEFA. Psychologist of the national team in eurythmics and member of Management council of the Federation.
Author of 7 books and more than 100 publications. As athlete – European champion (1978) and World’s Vice-Champion (1977) in eurythmics. Honoured master of sports.


Biser Hazday 
Born on 12 June 1955

Junior player of the club. Started his professional career with Lokomotiv Sofia in 1974 and then moved to Etar Veliko Trnovo. He played for Botev Vratza, Minior Buhovo and Akademik Sofia as well. Coach of junior team of Levski (1985-1992, 2003-2008) and senior teams of Belasitza Petrich (1993-1995) and Septemvri Sofia (1995-2003). During the season of 2008-2009 he is a head coach of the second team and coach of the first team of PFC Levski. The same season he went as champions in both teams. Since January 2010 he is appointed as director of CYS in the club. Registered 98 matches in bulgarian first division and 250 matches in second divison.

 


Bozhidar Iskrenov
Born on 1 August 1962 in Sofia.
Youth of Levski, playing in the team between 1980 and 1988. Three times champions of Bulgaria – 1984, 1985, 1988 and three times FC Cup winner – 1982, 1984 and 1986. Former international with 58 apps. / 6 goals. For Levski football club he has 208 league apps. / 41 goals; 40 cup apps. / 12 goals and 21 european caps / 2 goals.

Since he left the blue team he has a spell with Real Zaragoza, FC Laussana-sport , Botev Plovdiv, CSKA Sofia, Shoumen and Septemvri Sofia. 


Alexander Kostov
Born on 02 March 1938 .
One of the famous generation of Levski in the sixties of the last century. Competes for Levski from 1956 till 1971, i.e. a total of 15 seasons. Three times champion of Bulgaria (1965, 1968, 1970), five times winner of the Cup (1957, 1959, 1967, 1970, 1971). Seven matches and 1 score registered with the national team. Coach in Haskovo, Bulgaria , Cyprus , Tunisia and Indonesia .

Georgi Tsvetkov
Born on 10.09.1947.
Ex-player of Spartak Sofia (1963-1967), Akademik Sofia (1967-1971), Levski (1971-1977), Spartak Varna (1977-1978). Twice champion of Bulgaria (1974, 1977), Cup Winner (1976, 1977). His tally is 225 matches with 81 goals in first division. Twice quart finals in Europe tournaments. Firstly in UEFA Cup in 1976 and than in Cup Winner’s Cup tournament in 1977.

Olympic silver medal winner in 1968. Former international with 10 matches. Head coach of Levski (1996/97), Botev Vratsa, FC Shoumen, Vihren Sandanski and Nessebar.
